Your NACE Hawaii Board of Directors will have their monthly board meeting on Tuesday, April 6, at 6pm at the Dole Ballrooms. The meeting is open to all members; you are invited to attend and to voice your opinions and ideas! The board will discuss the upcoming Tasty Travels fundraiser, NACE Experience 2010, and much more, so drop by and share your thoughts. The board appreciates your input and participation.

As your chapter president, I need to remind you not to pass up the discounted rate of $995.00 (which ends today 03/31/10) of the NACE Experience 2010 in Austin, TX on July 25-28, 2010. Click here for more info on the conference.

After today the fee for the NACE Experience 2010 jumps to $1095.00.

From past experience, the NACE Experience has given me the education, the networking with NACE members around the USA, and the “New” concepts of event designing, food presentation, and internet knowledge that is worth its weight in gold.

You say you don’t have the cash for it now? There is a 3 month installment payment plan that you can charge to your credit card. Click on the link below and choose on the “installment payment form”; print it out and fill it out; then fax to the phone number listed on the form.

Tasty Travels II Fundraising Info

Aloha Everyone!

Our NACE Hawaii chapter will be doing another fundraiser in 2010: Tasty Travels, the same program as 2009. Purchase a $10 dining pass and get a 20% discount off food at participating restaurants around the island.

This year, the dining pass will be available for use the entire month of May. Note that some restrictions will apply.

We anticipate having the tickets ready in April to start distributing and selling.

Our goal is to have about 40 restaurants participating in Tasty Travels.

We need ALL members to participate in and help us make this a successful fundraiser.

We need your help to:

Secure restaurants around Oahu to participate
Sell! Sell! Sell! TICKETS.

Here is a tentative timeline:

March 26 – have all restaurants (names, addresses, contact & contact information) reported in. Please send all information to this email: nacehawaii@gmail.com.
April 9 – tickets and posters ready for distribution to all members to start selling.
May 1-31 – Tasty Travels in effect.

Your clients will find many photographers, videographers, DJs, Masters of Ceremonies, caterers, coordinators, and other wedding professionals for their Hawaii wedding, including many from NACE Hawaii.
