We currently have an opening at Starwood Waikiki for the Catering Sales Manager position. The position is a bi-plex role that will be responsible for duties for the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel and the Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort.

The Sheraton Waikiki is a modern monument to traditional Hawaiian hospitality where families can come together to relax and enjoy the best of Waikiki Beach. The Sheraton Waikiki is known for its breathtaking oceanfront views available from 80% of guest rooms. The Sheraton Waikiki is also known as the “Center of Entertainment” within Waikiki, offering the best of Hawaiian entertainment nightly at our poolside stage with the Pacific Sunset as the backdrop. The hotel offers unlimited activities including catamaran rides, nightly dancing and weekly displays of Hawaiian crafts. The Sheraton Waikiki is one of Hawaii’s most popular resorts because it is located close to shopping, fine dining and entertainment. Job Description

• Catering Sales Manager to sell, finalize and host the Sheraton Waikiki and the Royal Hawaiian. Responsible for the solicitation of business, turnover of leads for bi-plex properties and attain sales goals and objectives.
• Sales experience a must with strong leadership & customer relations skills.
• Communication & presentation finesse.
• Excellent Organizational & multi-tasking skills.
• Team player who possesses personable, enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
• Background in Food and Beverage experience helpful.
• Knowledge of hotel & competitive market.

Requirements

• High School Diploma Required with a minimum of 2 years of College.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of hotel with product knowledge and sales skills.
• Bilingual Japanese/English skills required
